LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball player. Nicknamed King James he is widely considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. He has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James has taken home four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the most score of points in the post-season. He is second in overall career score and 7th most career assists. James has been named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He's played in ten NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and the year 2018. James has been chosen for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has accumulated 10,000 or more points in rebounds, assists, and points in his career in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hypnotized by the media. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. Being the NBA rookie player of 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top athletes in the league, receiving the NBA MVP award for 2009 and 2010. After failing to win an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join with the Miami Heat this was announced in the television special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices in sports history.
