Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her grandmother was living in slums with her parents before she reached the age of 3. She was then adopted. Her adoptive parent is an American white man with a military background as well as her mother who is Filipino. The woman claims she and her brother adopted as infants, were subject to abuse until they enlisted. Her family traveled from San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt prior to moving to Texas in the year 13 due to her father's need for bypass surgery. The father was not able to end the mental abuse despite the fact that she believes physical violence had subsided. In the year she turned 18years old, Poarch joined the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok account in April of 202020. She quickly rose to the top of the charts, garnering more than 40,000,000 followers within less than eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however her biggest hit was the video she made for Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. It became one of TikTok's most popular videos. The video was zoomed-in on her dancing while lip-syncing to the song became a viral hit. Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts during the time following joining TikTok in order to capitalize on her growing fame. Poarch's burgeoning fame peaked in December 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves were interested in hiring her to develop videos for their respective brands.
