Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 16, she was able to go up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. This was her first big fight. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
