Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English musician and singer who goes under the moniker Jessie J. Jessie's unique musical style, which combines soul vocals along with electropop, pop, and hip-hop, has gained her not just fame but also recognition from a young age. She has also earned several nominations and awards like the 2011 'Critics' Choice Brit Award' and "BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her career began at the young age of 11 when she was made a part of "Whistle Down the Wind,' a musical that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. After that, she was a part of the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show"The Late Sleepers". Her debut album "Who You Are" was released in February 2011. She became famous that year. It was an instant success. Within the first week there were 105,000 copies sold in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US. It was ranked second on the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on US Billboard 200.
